My partner is a big film fan, and we have about 200 vhs tapes at home (not just the pre-recorded type, but the ones you tape onto yourself). He's been in the process of replacing them all with dvds / recordable dvs for some time and now we're getting a lot of redundant tapes knocking about. The pre-recorded ones I'm glad to give to charity, but what can I do with the others? They have stufff taped off the tv on most of them, so not totally blank. I was just wondering if there is an organisation I can donate them to, or one that recycles them? Any ideas? I feel guilty about creating a vhs mountain!

I can't help - but what an excellent question.

There must be many people with the same situation - I hope they can find a good home.
