My labyrinthitis has flared up. I have Prochlorpearazine 5mg tablets. I can't remember if I have to swallow these with water or do I stick these under my top lip?

I always take them with a lot of water, I think they were ones I was told to wash straight down and not keep them on my tongue.

Is there a leaflet in any of the boxes? There is usually one in mine.

Thanks Eve, there is a leaflet but all it says is to take as directed! I did have other ones that I had to put under my lip, but I seem to remember taking these ones with water.
Looks like the 3mg Buccastem tablets you stick in your mouth.

2sp, I've googled them, and they seem to be taken with water. I would suggest keeping instructions though :-)

That's them!

I did just take the 5mg tablet with water, the room has stopped spinning for the moment so I'm happy!

Thanks for your help.
Buccastem are dissolved in gums, yes.
Question Author
Pixie, I never had any written instructions with these tablets. Nothing on the leaflet enclosed or on the prescription label on the box. I'm usually quite obsessive about stuff like this!

I just can't remember what the GP said.
Fair enough. Sounds as though it's helped, anyway.
Question Author
I should have paid more attention! Or written it on the box when I got them.

Thanks Eve and Pixie.
Swallow them.
I swallow mine with water - they need to dissolve in the stomach.
