I've noticed a lot of people (including myself) asking when the new series of certain programmes start. I know that most programmes are on at certain times of the year e.g. big brother always runs over the summer. my question is - is there a website that lists programme schedules for the coming year and if not does anybody else think this is a good idea?

Yeah i do,everwood was gonna be back in the new year, when do you class "the new year"?Same will prob be for surface, and everything else where ITV are concerned!!
I keep an eye on future shows for another website, and in my experience the BBC rarely announce any broadcast schedules more than a month ahead. The commercial channels do publish lists a few months ahead so they can pull in advertising and sponsorship, but these advance lists are very changeable.

However, a site that does a good round-up of these things is http://www.thecustard.tv - click on the "Coming Soon" section. It won't tell you exactly when things are going to start but it will give you a good idea of what's in the pipeline.
