Could be Gromit

Though the accusation of 'name calling' on behalf of a third party (much less a newspaper) seems a particularly perverse attempt to take umbrage on behalf of others

aog did offer this explanation:

/Perhaps the use of the word 'foolish', and the offensive name calling of the liberal left's most hated national newspaper? /

though why anyone would feel the need to assume foolish is a name personally attached to themselves when it was used to summarise a misguided behaviour is also a mystery.
Zeuhl

So....to summarise - we should not use the word 'foolish' to describe something that we might feel is foolish, and we should not use disparaging phrases to refer to the Daily Mail.

Got it.

Bizarre, but let's try to stick to those rules...whilst patiently waiting for those who say that the inclusion of black and / or gay people in television programmes 'ruin them'.

Well Andi Peters was on the relaunched GMB this morning.

But to be fair, it would have been kerr@p anyway :-)

Since you are persistently taking what I say completely out of context, here is what I actually put, incidentally you have not provided me with any proof where I said "Black Savages".

*** But to be serious this type of thing is ruining TV shows etc, where now they must have the prominent black actor, gay character, even in shows such as Catchphrase there now must be a black cartoon character along side such others as Mr Chips, along with black cartoon characters in certain car insurance adverts. ***

*** And as for 'Come dine with me' we now have to have black guests, gay guests and even one I saw last night which had a transvestite, WHY? ***

*** Time we heard the Chinese complaining, because I see very little representation of them on our screens. ***

It is not a matter of black actors etc ruining TV programmes, it is a fact that due to pressure from such persons as Lenny Henry, and to be seen as towing the PC line, programme makers feel compelled to include black actors, homosexuals etc even though this representation as nothing to do with the story line, and sometimes can ruin the overall presentation of certain programmes, Midsommers Murders was a prime example.

Emmerdale is also another example, it was not just the inclusion of a black actor, but the fact that once introduced into these programmes they have to be taken into the bosom of the whole village in this case, which I am afraid would not be the case, even white new comers are also not made particularly welcome in these villages, but this black actor although not the most handsome of actors, immediately became the dish of the day for some of the Emmerdale females.

Aog -//Not at all, both myself and the Daily Mail are only pointing out the number of foreign prisoners we have in our jails, which further proves that not everything is good about foreign immigration. //

nobody is suggesting it is. Why would you expect foreigners to me more law-abiding than Brits? Humans are humans.
Is there anything anywhere which compares how many Brits are in foreign prisons compared to the indigenous population of the particular country? One wonders if there would be a similarity in figures though I'd hazard a guess it would be far less Brits in prisons abroad than foreigners here in our prisons.
i would say that would be rare, our crims are too busy causing mayhem here, let along travel to far flung places, those who are are likely to do with drugs, as we have seen with drug mules supposedly being duped into transporting stuff,

not the only one aog on here pot and kettle spring to mind
AOG

Please explain how including black or gay characters in tv shows ruins them.
In summary, I think AOG is saying that programmes should remain 100% heterosexual and white. If the programme makers try to extend the demographic of the show, it will ruin it.

Furthermore, it seems that country-folk are close-nit and do not welcome strangers.

I was not aware this was universally true...possibly because it's not true?
