We're having problems with the above-named printer. It doesn't pull the paper through, but thinks it has, so sprays ink everywhere. Then it might actually print a page correctly. Afterwards it will pull a blank sheet through. What can we do about this? Is getting a printer repaired an expensive job? Where should I take it?

Been there done that, have you ever put carts in it that are NOT Epsoms? Answer HONESTLY I did not and my printer has now joined the pile of junkyard sale stuff I have

Epson have **** puters that look at the ink you put in it and if it is not their own...........

Thanks for that - I like the concept! Yes, we have used non-Epson cartridges, but that wasn't the problem. I've now had it fixed - it was one of the little drive wheels that had snapped (through old age, seemingly!).
