When I try to get Google UK, my computer says it's connecting to 0.0.0.0 and then I get a 'this page cannot be displayed' error. I've also tried www.google.com, www.google.de and www.google.au and all fail, leading either to a VeriSign page or some sort of domain name trader. This has only been happening for a day or so. What's wrong and how do I put it right?

Thanks for your help, though the problem turned out to be that somehow my Hosts file had been hijacked and a load of search engine URLs were being redirected to a non-existent address. Pretty much all the various versions of Google, plus Hotbot, Yahoo, MSN Search, Looksmart, Lycos, alltheweb, etc. I've sorted the problem out now.
