Hi there I have been eating really well this week brown bread rice baked potatoes soup oatcakes and porridge no sugar or sweet things at all. Last thursday my BM was 28 this morning I was a bit surprised it was 9.8 that was 1 hour after breakfast of a bowl of porridge and 1 1/2 hours after glipazide 5mg.
I am on 4 metformin a day and 4 glipazide I am seeing diabetic doctor tonight to discuss the results and look at possibility of injections of victoza.

Going the right way Gordie, keep it up, Good luck!
your blood sugars can be high in the morning even before breakfast. Especially so if you've had anything the night before. Your liver will store the sugar overnight and start to release it when you're up and about.
I will be having a blood test tomorrow,as I seem to have the signs of diabetes,so I'm wondering which foodstuffs I should avoid. Thanks
