I doubt it will come out.
Apparently you could cover the stain with more curry to 'wake it up'....lol....and hen follow these suggestions. I'm not sure about that...

thanks robinia.

im wondering will colour run or something i can buy in supermarket help ? any other suggestions ? the sweater is light grey, the dye from the curry is a light green colour.
Due to my curry stain experiences in the past, before I even start preparing a curry I change into an old sweater/top. Have you tried "Vanish" products?
I smiled when I saw your name in the latest posts beez, wondering what calamity had befallen you now and I don't mean that unkindly. Sorry about your sweater but one thing you could try is Morning Fresh washing up liquid. I know you can buy it in Sainsburys. It came 1st in a Which survey for removing stains from carpets so if I were you I'd try it. Won't cost much and can't do any harm. Keep it quite concentrated when you use it - 50/50 MF/water. Good luck.
If the stain is turmeric the best thing to remove that is bright sunlight, apparently. Good luck with that here in 'sunny Britain, it's worth a try although it probably works better in India.
Try Vanish Gold Oxy Action, that stuff is brilliant!
