Maybe the Tappets? (Not a joke) Doe's it go away after a while?
it will be the tappets as previously said. A mechanic will be able to advise on the best solution

As well as the tappets, it could be the camshaft.

Get a good mechanic to have a look at it and see if the tappets need adjusting. Bear in mind that a lot of cars now have hydraulic tappets and should not need adjusting.

The 'tappets' that people keep referring to are to give them the correct name hydraulic lifters, and they do start to clack a bit if oil changes are neglected, because they become gummed up with deposits and crud. There is a Wynn's preparation you could try called hydraulic lifter treatment, you add it to your oil drive about a bit and then carry out an oil and filter change. Best of luck, I hope its not too late!
