I watched tonight a programme on UK Documentary about the now famous transsexual Julia Grant. The programme seemed to cut from the time of the operation to 'present day' to her time living in France. BUT at no stage was her 'Manchester' life ever mentioned. She disappeared from there in 2002 under questionable circumstances.

Does anyone know how old the programme is and what's she's doing now?

In 1981 George Roberts underwent a sex-change operation and became Julia Grant,she wrote a book called Just Julia , in 1994.From what i found on the net she used to own hollywood show bar in Manc, but not sure what she is up to now

Thanks for that. Though I know see 'owned' the 'Hollywood Showbar' but left - very quickly. And where she went to remained a mystery for many years.
