Does anyone know how I can clean the rubber/silicone nose pads on my glasses? Sick of them going green and having to go to opticians to have them replaced!!

No, you can't - I have the same problem. It's the chemicals in your sweat which make the nosepads go green. I get them changed every six months or so, my optician charges me three quid for the privilege.
I've never heard of this happening. It's never happened to my glasses. I've just taken mine off, no all good.
Elina, I think it depends on the acidity (?) of your sweat. It counteracts with the metal on the clip of the nosepad. It's happened to me forever, and it's more noticeable if you have the clear see-through pads.
^ it's the woggly soft pads, not the ones which are fixed on some specs.
Ah right! Never heard of this before.
There you go - it's a chemical reaction, as I thought. It seems we should be using a toothbrush! - but I certainly wouldn't entertain using bleach! http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index?qid=20070515130050AAFtOLh
The best thing you can do its go to and Optical and have them change to new ones , sometimes if you go to the same place they were purchase they will replace them at no cost , but you glasses will look like new.
Only other solution is to wash them very frequently, especially before you go to sleep so the perspiration is not left overnight to react.
...or you can buy a jumbo-size bag very cheaply on ebay and change them yourself --very easy job. Make sure you get correct type...push-fit or screw-fit.
