Car Accident Compensation...

I had a bad car crash on Monday when my car was written off. Since then I've had a few phone calls from different companies asking me if I would like to claim for my injuries.

I've got whiplash to my neck and back and I also have burst blood vessels and slight nerve damage in my legs (I didn't ask the doctor if it was permanent- I'm a bit all over the place).

Does anyone have any experience of claiming with these companies and could you recommend one?

Is it really 'no fee'? I'm not sure how they work.

Thanks in advance x

Go for it. I got whip lash ( u need to have seen a gp or hospital) after a black taxi drove into me while i was stationary. They offered me 2,000 I said no way and got 4,000. the way no win no fee works is they add their fee on top of your claim so they bill the other parties insurance company. all the companies are much of a muchness. cant remember who i used as was 8 years ago.

Answering with a question where did these companies get your details from thats what I would be asking? As far as claiming is concerned contact your insurance company and ask them if you are covered through them for claming for injury. Best to keep it all in one place.

Go to a company that any of your friends have used and tell them what happened so they can log it all but the main thing is keep a day to day diary on your health so in say a years time you can still claim but you can get more for the long lasting effects on your health...
Just be *very* careful about these companies who ring you up as many require you to take out an insurance which essentially pays them if they lose (no help to you). If you want to look into claiming, best find a local solicitor who deals with this kind of thing as they'll more likely give you a genuine chance of whether you'll win.

Biggest factor could simply be who's fault the accident was.
