I am going to a wedding soon and have bought a new dress. It is a knee length fitted shift dress with a sort of draped feature on the waist at the front and the colour is a bright cerise. I will be wearing nude tights.
I have two dilemmas - firstly do I wear my black killer heels or my nude killer heels (these are similar to the L.K. Bennett ones that Kate Middleton wears, and the black ones are the same style).
Secondly, I want to buy one of those tiny bolero cardigans to cover my spindly arms but have no idea what colour to choose.

I think I'll buy one nude shrug, one black shrug & I can always return the one I don't want.
Failing that, LadyJ's suggestion of a burhka would solve the problem!

Murray, ALL my shoes are Tartstrotters!
I agree with Tilly, black's harsh.
When I go to weddings I find out the colour of the walls and wear something that blends in :)
Love the dress mrs_o but still say black will go better.

or there is always plan C - keep my coat on lol
Best tabard and baffies !
Till's right, needs contrast.
I love the purple accessories idea, nude is too safe and black might be too harsh.
Though I once had Queenofmean accessorise a turquoise dress with black killer heels, fascinator, and little black lace gloves. I think nude would kill the bright
colour of your dress, which is lovely! I think we'd like to see pictures after the event. I think any bright primary colour would set off your dress really well, even the yellow of your world famous marigolds!
nude shoes and nude bolero cardi. Black far too harsh.
Actually thinking about it, I think Navy would look great with this colour pink.
I just googled...What colours go with hot pink......it started.....Pink represents compassion, love, nurturing, thoughtfulness and caring.....

They obviously haven't walked to a pub with you......☺☺

Love the dress.....you'll look stunning.....xx
a burka in three shades of regal purple. sock it to them baby. are you going to wear socks? with the tart trotters?
Come on Mrs O sort yourself out, just select a new pair of marigolds and theme your outfit to tone with them.
I prefer navy with cerise.
