'80s British pop song - what's the title/artist? MP3 included

This is a fragment of a song I've recorded from an old tape: http://cheese.republika.pl/song.mp3 The song has an '80s sound, and is sung by a male singer or band, probably British. Some of the lyrics I could get are "Love is not a bad thing", "But it's not that easy now/You need someone to love you". If I haven't misheard, the first words of the chorus are "Lola, Lola"?


If nobody knows the song, maybe someone can tell the artist by his voice? Thanks in advance!

Shazam it, Call 2580 on your mobile, hold it to the music until the call ends itself. After about 5 seconds you will receive a msg saying the artist and title of the song. Costs 50p plus standard msg charge.

I listened but don't recognise it unfortunately, and I love 80s music....I googled every possible combination of the lyrics, but nothing. Sorry!

Sounds very Eurovision-ish to me, could be a European band (as opposed to UK)).

OK, I found it - It's sung by Paul Sharada and it's called "Vola". You were right with the artist not being from the UK - he is, in fact, Italian :)
