this question is for both guys and women... I have a problem with my hands being sweaty all the time, so I'm afraid to get close with any guy (I'm a girl) because I'm afraid once they find out I've got sweaty hands they won't want to hold my hand, or they'll be disgusted, and such.

is this true? is this a turnoff for you men? do you hate it? should it/does it matter? what do you think, fellow ladies?

I think if the first thing I realized was somebody's sweaty hands, it might well be a turnoff.

Once you get to like somebody, little things like that, however, don't really matter, do they?

I had the exact same problem. The fact that I had sweaty palms made me nervous someone would notice, therefore making me sweat more, increasing the worry.

I just used to blame the problem on my working environment.

When I first started going out with my boyfriend, I didn't like to hold hands because of this problem, but once the relationship progressed, I just didn't think about it any more.

Holding hands makes your palm sweaty anyway!

I believe there is an operation you can have, check with your doc, THORASCOPIC CERVICALSYMPATHECTOMY

Sorry missed space after Cervical

There's something you can buy in the chemist that helps. My boyfriend used it (you can use it for excessive sweating on hands, feet and arm-pits) and it's similar to a roller-ball I think (I'm not 100% sorry), and I also can't remember the name of it (I'm useless), but they should no what you mean.

I think you put it on every night before bed and wash it off in the morning. I hope what little info I've provided might help.

i'm a really clammy handed guy - its really not very nice when your on first few dates or meeting people so i used Perspirex hand and foot lotion - basically an antiperpirant that you put on for two nights (washing off in the morning) and stops your hands sweating for about 6 days or so. i only use it when i'm nervious about meeting people but it works an absolute treat, might be worth a look see...
