Dismantling Pallets

I want to take apart some pallets to make other things for the allotment. I have several types....some flimsy, some heavy duty. I have a club hammer and a crow bar. Don't want to ruin them and split the wood but some are very well put together.

Any tips ?

Excellent snags, you may also find it beneficial to use a wide bolster chisel to remove the blocks.

It might be dull but ive dismantled 6 pallets today ready for my allotment
