Just got a Creative Zen but the headphones that came with it aren't very good - can anyone recomend a decent pair to replace them with? Preferably In ear ones with a good deep bass. Thanks in advance - Carlos

check out the sennheiser range

The headphones with my Zen were good, maybe I'm just not such a great connaisseur.

if you're happy to the idea of canal 'phones (just go deeper into your ears), then the Shure e3c's come highly recommended! Not suitable for walking in, or eating.
fo3nix, shure are nice (pardon the pun) but you didn't mention the price!! You'd be as well going for the etymotics of this world!
Hi Carlos
I've had Shure E4C's, Shure E3C's and a pair of Etymotic (can't remember which ones) but none were as good as my Ultimate Audio Superfi.5 pro's. Great bass and mid range, good highs and very comfortable to wear (unlike the shure's) 141 from www.handheldaudio.co.uk. Check the reviews on ipodlounge.com.
Yes, they are expensive. Btw, some prefer Shure's, some Ety's, and others Ultimate Ears. But they're all very good.

To get "In ear ones with a good deep bass," you probably need some 'phones like these anyway. But it depends how much of an audiophile you are.
fo3nix, what about the Shure ec2s at nearly half the price of the ec3s - any good? (Mac Attack as well).
I'd recommend the Shure E2c's as well, I got them for around 55 delivered from Amazon. before these, I had a pair of the Sony in-ear phones that you can get in Argos for between 25 and 30, they're the cheapest I found for them. The Sony's are damn good as well, loads of bass but not quite as clear and defined as the sound out of the Shure's.
never tried the e2c's, but own the 3c's. got them off ebay from the US, for about 90 i think. quite a bit cheaper than the 150 or whatever they are from most UK stores.

There's quite a good comparative assessment of the Sony's and Shures E2, E3 & E4's available here. Be warned though, it may tempt you to spend quite a large amount of cash on new earphones!

Carlos, this is also quite comprehensive, from affordable up to more than the price of the mp3 player!
