Does anyone know the main genre in Blue Remembered Hills by Dennis Potter. I can't find an actual definition of the genre, i just keep finding 'script' or 't.v script'

Thanks

Don't be silly, it's Dennis Potter. It won't have a genre - it will be too individual to fit one.
Dennis Potter has extensively exploited genre forms in a post-modem pastiche method, using supernatural fantasy, the romance story, the hardboiled detective yarn, futuristic sci- fi, and much more to enlarge his storytelling scope.
Potteresque...would be an ideal word to describe his genre.
Sorry to pinch a spot - Nothing to do with Dennis Potter - does anyone know the lines of Blue Remembered Hills from the film Walkabout with Jenny Agutter, and who wrote them?
Never seen that film but it's probably A.E.Housman
Into my heart an air that kills
From yon far country blows:
What are those blue remembered hills,
What spires, what farms are those?

That is the land of lost content,
I see it shining plain,
The happy highways where I went
And cannot come again.

Shaney star 2 - that's it Thanks

Not suggesting you are wrong is 'Kill' right or should it be chill ?

It is a beautiful film and worth seeing Cheers.
