When my grandson first went to uni, it was one of the first things he had done when he got his hands on some money. He had "To sleep, perchance to dream" on his shoulder.(how pretentious), we were not happy but it was too late by then.
Not a fan on either men or women, however Mrs BT has 2, pin prick ones for the radiotherapy machine to hit the right spot. Glad to say they worked and she's now clear of the dreaded big C!
I love my tattoo but think it needs retouching. I was very surprised by the number of extremely wealthy, posh ladies on my last cruise who had visible tattoos when in their swimsuits.
\\\\\\ number of extremely wealthy, posh ladies \\\\

But lacking that touch of ..."class."
Money buys nobody 'class'
No sorry sqad you're wrong, extremely classy ladies, which is why the tats surprised me.
By class I assume you mean snobbery and pretension?
//Just wondered what people on here think about them. //

No.
Mo-Jo-Jo....if that is what you assume.........you are entitled to assume.
one thing they don;t last as the subject matter in general, as proven with some people i have seen who have them, they go into a dark blob so you can't see the original designs,
That depends how good they are maybe. One of mine is twenty years old and still perfectly clear.
Sqad, you don't half talk some nonsense sometimes.

So art can be very classy but if it is in the form tattoo then it can not be classy on anybody.

Oh dear lol

I have two tattoos that have faded, both done by the same artist, I have others of the same age that are still crisp and clear.
RATTER....you confuse me at times:

I have never said that art can be very classy..........

I have never said that tattoo is a form of art.........you did.

Sqad, and I never said that you did say it, I assumes that you could see some art as classy, and I am telling you that tattoos are an art form.
