With the increasing demand for workers, who may come in to contact with all forms of asbestos, I have noticed a large number of online courses.
These courses if completed issue a certificate.
I am aware of the UKATA. Is there anyone who has been refused starts on site if they produce any other certificate other than the one endorsed by UKATA.

Hi Malagabob,
An asbestos removal Co I used to work for used 'ARCA' for all of their training. I don't think this is specifically endorsed by UKATA, and the lads were never refused site starts (the qualifications were checked during tender stage by the client (local council's) with no issues).
We just had to make sure they were all up to date, refresher training done etc and that we were disposing to a licensed facility with dispoal records/ weigh-in tickets for tracking/ method statements/ risk assessments etc.
Hope this helps?
They all had proof of their relevant asbestos removal/ management training on their CSCS asbestos operatives or supervisors cards too.
