There was an on C4 last night during the When Becks met Fergie programme. It featured part of a song, with a Bugle - which I`ve heard before - it begins with a sort of epic fanfare, like an Olympic tune. I think that it may have featured as Sports programme theme before......

sounds like that 70's prog classic 'Fanfare for the Common Man' by Emerson, Lake & Palmer. Didn't see the program myself; don't like footy - but love music, Check it out...(your Dad may well have it on vinyl in the attic!)

The original "Fanfare for the Common Man" is a piece by Aaron Copland, so if you like the other version you might find it a good idea to download the original as well.
