Dying Phone

Despite being good at spending money I hate to spend on things that don't excite me without good reason.

My landline phones keep dying. One won't keep a charge for many minutes and the other dies rather quickly now.

They are fairly old but I have replaced the batteries (with the correct ones).

Do I need a new phone.....do they stop accepting full charge with age?

Thanks Gx

Hi Gness
Check for faulty batteries, has happened to us. Try new batteries, charge fully then let them run down every so often. We keep ours off the rest (charger) during the day and only put them on overnight
Not worth faffing around - stuff gets old and dies - you could spend money on new rechargeable batteries and still have the problem.

Thanks, Psyb and Dave....Psyb....mine don't last an hour now without going bip and dying...so I may have to take Dave's advice...pity the little clothes shop in town was having a fantastic sale today....tops versus phone...no contest....next payday.....☺
In this case I disagree with Dave (how brave am I). Our phones are quite old and work fine. Think of those extra tops
Tried mouthwash?
Nice spearminty one.....
