I am just looking for the host that is best a preventing any loss of data or pages. I want to start an archive site to have a log of information in a super super safe place so I can be sure that even in the event of a near total apocalypse the web pages will never be erased or lost for any reason. whether that is through some kind of host backup facility etc

You are either going to be paying through the nose to get a secure, off-site backup of your site done by a web host, or the easier way would be to take the responsibility of backing the site up into your own hands and keeping a backup at home.
