Yes you can. You need to contact your current network provider and ask for a PAC code (Porting Authorisation Code). You then phone the network you want to change over to and give them this PAC code.
Yes, I'm just going that myself. Moving your number from one network to another is called porting. You ring up the provider you're with and get the PAC code. Give the PAC code to your new provider and it usually takes about 48 hours to transfer the number over.
Yes, I didn't know this and was with virgin, my new phone is with orange, I changed numbers then orange texted me and said if I wanted to keep my old no. they would give me £10 free credit!!! I did, and they did. No problems at all, so all in all a good deal, don't know why they would do that tho??
