Do all mobiles have a sim card and are they always easy to get to? My brother has a phone which if my first plan does not go to plan I would like to use using my sim card but I simply cannot find where the sim is.There is a square card that is a completely different shape to my sim card and the phone will work fine without it.Is it the sim?

Whats the phone ?
That sounds like a memory card. Most sim cards are located underneath the battery.

Well the name of the phone is not on the cover but what I know is it is a nokia phone that slides up and down rather then having a lip that you flap up.There is no way to get to the sim.
Question Author
Yes I think it is the memory card but I just don't understand where the sim is
is it quite new ?
Question Author
I have finally located it but I cannot use the phone anyway because there is a restriction code that you have to put in if you want to use the phone with a different sim
phones are often restricted to providers.
Plus if one of the new smart phones or G3 you can do damage by putting wrong sim in it
