This has been raised before on many occasions. Is there any chance that these could be displayed in order of the date of last answer. It is so difficult to see when a thread has been added to.

Am I right in thinking that the date of last answer shown is the date that I last added to the thread?

yes, that appears to be the case. Since the system is able to log a thread according to when you last added to it, it may be able to also log it according to whether anyone else has added to it subsequently. That's what's needed: a sort of 'Threads That Someone's Followed Me On' list.

At the moment it is very misleading as it is easy to think that the date of last answer means the last answer to the thread.
Oh dear I hadn't noticed - I was quite happy with it. I'll get back in my box now shall I?

i agree. the last answer date should be the last answer posted by anyone, not the last answer YOU posted. - i think i can remember when i last posted, thank you very much!

i also think it should have a time listed because if i answer at 2.15pm, i may check back again later in the day to see if there has been any updates and if it says last answer 4.20 i know someone has added since and saves me having to pointlessly wade through loads of threads

I know you can subscribe, but i don't want an inbox clogged up with ab emails

i suggested this once before but someone suggested i just memorise all the reply amounts every time so i remember how many posts each thread has(!!)

yeah right!

don't know about you but i've got better things to remember!
