There are many meat eating caterpillars all over the world. The real predator types are in Australia, Denmark and Hawaii. Check out the national geographic sites for this kind of thing.

when i was little i put catterpillas in a jar along with grass hoppers. for some reason the grasshoppers died and when i looked the catterpillas were eating them which wasn't very pleasent. perhaps most if not all catterpillas will eat meat. that was in england by the way
