Can anybody help me. there is an argument going on in our flat about these two towns.

Basingstone: 152,573


Burton-on-Trent: 60,500

Basingstoke = 2001 census


Burton-on-Trent = 2001 estimate

Being a lad from basingstoke, i knew we had about 150,000. Flatmate is from Burton and swears the population there is bigger.

burton-on-trent is bigger in breweries though,maybe this is the key issue? lol
