I've got an address but the place is so new it's not showing on maps and I need to know where it is. I've been on the Royal Mail post code finder but it's not on there either?? Any help would be great thank you :)

Try phoning
(a) the planning department of the local council (as they must know about any recent developments) ; or
(b) the Royal Mail delivery office covering the relevant area.

Alternatively, if Google recognises the address by, for example, linking to the website of the developer (or of the estate agent handling sales), even though there's no map, try phoning the developer/agent.

Lastly, try phoning the local police station. (The emergency services ought to know where an address is!).

Thanks I will find out Monday from my local authority they wouldn't tell my partner where our new house is because even though he pays the rent and blah blah he's not on the rent book they can't give out info......I wanted to go have a look over the weekend but can't find it!! So frustrating! Other than scouring the nearby postcode areas and hoping to find it lol
It is the local authority who are in charge of dishing out postcodes, so if it is very, very new even Royal Mail might not know!
I would call at the local Royal Mail delivery office. Every new house is allocated a postcode, so as long as you have an address, the Manager at the office should be able to help you.

Have you tried googling the address ? This also works most times.
