Ideas For A Special Gift For My Grandmother's 80Th Birthday

I am looking for ideas for a special gift for my grandmother's 80th Birthday, has anyone any ideas for something special under a £100.

It's hard to suggest things without knowing her. What are her interests?

We paid for some trees to be planted in her name for my mother's 80th - in a local woodland. The Woodland Trust organised it for us.

What about 'buying' her a star. It will be named after her, or whatever name you choose. When I did it it cost £30 but I think it will have probably gone up now. You do get all the paperwork etc to give her.

For a present my husband and I received a gift of a Sunday lunch and cruise on the River Thames, on a date we chose. What a lovely experience that was.

Magazine subscription, voucher for a really nice hair do at a good hairdressers or a pampering session.

The usual granny things knitting, reading, travelling, but I would like to give her something special, a keepsake sort of thing maybe, not really sure but want it to be special.

If I was a gran I think I'd like to spend time with family, that would be special to me. A nice meal out just the two of you, so you can give her your undivided attention.
