Sorry, pressed the send button too soon.

Meant to finish off by saying......thoughts please.
I prefer condensing - a (very well lagged) tank of hot water just keeps the airing cupboard warm enough and I do love my pumped power shower.
And I much prefer Combi.....☺
[ PS - whilst I have your attention - could you have a look at my question for you here :

Personally, I prefer combi as I don`t have a regular daily schedule and I would hate to have to wait for the water to heat up.

Sunny-Dave, so sorry, I missed your thread regarding cards abroad.

I have been using my Halifax card for about 3/4 years now without any problems.

We travel to France quite regularly and have always had the full exchange rate on purchases. Quite small amounts of interest on cash taken out.

This year I topped up the card account £1k before we went, I have just received the statement with a slight overspend, no comments or charges from Halifax thus far.

Anyway, they have your cash before you take it out, and I guess they are making a profit on it by loaning it to someone else at a high rate of interest.

If I do have any problems, I'll certainly re post an answer to you.

Hope that helps. BT
Excellent - thanks BT

Combi - I wouldn't be without one now - hot water when we need it.

Thank you for your thoughts on the boiler.

We currently have a combi, with which we are very satisfied however, we are looking to move and new houses seem to put in condensing boilers.

For...a nice full tank of hot water and power shower.

Against...takes up a lot of space in a fairly small house.
