has anyone seen emo phillips doing live stand up? i have tickets for his only uk dates in july and want to know if he is any good. i have only ever seen snippets of him on american tv/websites.

Yes, saw him years ago when he was in his spaced-out geek phase - a genius. Had no idea he was playing live again - I know he looks completely different now so probably the act's changed.

Emo!! WOW - amazing character, one of a kind - so funny!! However, that was a while ago that I saw him.. I don't know if he's changed his act, but I'm sure he'll still be worth seeing! Have fun!!

thanks, he's only doing 3 dates in the uk this year, all at the newbury comedy festival in july so it was too good a chance to miss!

I saw him on tv at various US comedy festivals, chat shows etc. He looks a lot like Richard III and has a strange, warped repertoire. Very very funny. Try www.chortle.co.uk (or com?) for other reviews, info
