Having got up this morning to find that the weight of the living room curtains has pulled the curtain pole out of the wall (I now have a large hole in said wall) I am thinking of having vertical blinds fitted.

Does anyone know if Hillary's are any good, or can recommend anyone (I live in York)

They seem to have a good business ethic and everything went like clockwork with mine. They came when they said they would, or rang if they were going to be a few minutes late. Quality of work was good too.

craft, I've used Hillary's for several years now in several houses and I am delighted with them. I now have vertical blinds from them in all my bay windows - I don't like Venetian blinds, and the cats climb up them - and they are great, I would highly recommend them. They do have good offers, but needless to say the fabric I choose isn't part of the offer.... but they fit well and still work very well after about ?six years. Very happy with them.

Well the blind man's been (but I kept my clothes on just in case) and has relieved me of £437.
We have Hillary's blinds in the conservatory, very good indeed, Mrs av was very pleased with them.

I wanted some bright coloured washable ones when he turned up................I am now having grey and silver non-washable ones :-(
