I play sport on a Saturday and every time I remove my shinpads, I get an intense itch on my shin. I've tried wearing cotton socks under them, talc, moisturiser, vaseline, but still they won't stop itching. Please help, I've myself scratched raw!!

zombie1000, have you tried any of the Lanacane products. Plenty of info on their web-site. They do powders and creams which might help. Good luck.
just a thought but my son had some foam backed shinpads which he developed an allergy to. We bought some with a more spongy backing and he's fine with these. Might be worth a try. Good luck

Could possibly be a sweat rash. Maybe try an antifungal cream such as Canesten. Try asking your local pharmacist for further advice.
