Tumble dryer leaving clothes dirty

My tumble dryer is leaving clothes dirty. My husband seems to think it is the bearing gone so it is leaving a graphite dust on my clothes. Has anyone else had this problem? It does sound noisy when it is going.

If its noisy then probably the bearing is going. However have you checked the filter is not clogged up? You need to clean this every 2-3 tumbles as once it is clogged up, nothing else with be filtered.

I am also inclined to say bearing. Mine was leaving black smears on clothes and it was the bearing.
