A friend of mine was divorced from her Dutch husband and still lives in Holland with her children. She is worried about her mortgage and various other financial aspects of the divorce, but her Dutch is not really up to understanding legal documents or negotiating with banks. Do anyone know of a Dutch financial adviser or an English-speaking lawyer practising in Holland or familiar with Dutch matrimonial law whom she could approach for help? Many thanks.

The language problem shouldn't really be a cause for concern as the level of English spoken in the Netherlands is extremely high. It's a different matter if your friend is seeking advice from someone qualified in English and Dutch law/finances. I'd guess ask at the Dutch equivalent of the CAB, or the British consulate/embassy for advice.
