How do you make a web link i.e. www.yahoo.co.uk say 'Here' instead putting the whole link in?

Once you've got your link in, like you have above, then highlight it and just overtype it with whatever word you want.

....mmmm....just a tip, if you are using the Firefox browser then I don't think it works............ you have to use IE for some reason..........commoner.;-)

In Firefox it is:

[a target='_blank' href="THE FULL WEBSITE ADDRESS"]THE WORDS TO DISPLAY[/a]

But using < instead of [
and > instead of ]

every time.

Hi Cheeky Chops . . . .On this weblink question.

When I find a link, do I highlight it and copy. Then paste it into one of these answer windows, and then highlight it again and overtype in a word such as Here before submitting it?

...yes you have it there sir.prize........ after pasting remember to press the space bar to move the cursor and make it form a link THEN highlight and overtype it......

....and don't forget, this method is for IE ..use Ethels tip for Firefox.....commoner;-)
