No, sorry - I understood that the medium was genuine, I was wondering why it said " Don't put them all in the same van" - was the meaning that if they were all killed (being in the same van)then there would be noone left to be brought to court?

yes that's right, islasmum, Chandler's criminals never get to court, they always die... hence the 'don't put them all in the same van', something like that anyway.
