No mose recognised in windows millenium??

When I start my computer in safe mode the mouse is ok however, when I start normally there is no mouse. Any help gratefully received. Thanks.

I.e


* How are you connecting your mouse? What Port?


* Wireless/Corded mouse?


* Have you got another mouse you can try to see if that one works?

I have used two mice, neither work. The screen also goes different colours and looks as if it is in safe mode when it isnt.(all the icons are big)

if your pc looks as if it is in safe mode you need to upgrade your graphics card driver by installing the disc that came with your card or by looking on the manufacturers web site. then you could look in control panel at the mouse options to see if any thing has changed.also if your mouse came with an instalation disc you could try reinstalling that.


failing this use the tried and trusted method of going back to when all was ok with system restore.
