Cillian Murphy? He's been in quite a few films, first came to most people's notice in '28 Days Later', starred in 'Sunshine' and played a significant character in a couple of the Batman films.

The accents may be dodgy, but the sets, particularly the outdoor ones are very atmospheric, great cinematography. Don't know how they do it on what must be a limited 'TV' budget.
