My Hubby bought a Harley Davidson from a dealer in Cardiff back in the seventies; he can't remember the name of the dealer and searches haven't helped. Does anyone know as it's driving him mad?! Thanks

I bet if you asked a current local Harley dealer, they'd know!
Check the Number plate on the Bike, some dealers have their names there, If not go onto H.D. UK.

"RIDERS" is a family run business launched in 1976, with state of the art dealerships in Bridgwater, Bristol and Cardiff.
Bowker Preston, Lanc's 01772 551839 H.D. Dealers.
I don't think Riders existed outside of Bridgewater in the 1970s, as least they didn't when I used to go in there.

I also thought it was Riders.

Says here they were around in 1976
I may be wrong then, but I still don't think they were in Bristol or Cardiff in the 70s, they were just a small motorbike shop in Bridgewater. The shop they now own in Bristol was Fowlers before Riders brought them out.
Actually, ignore me, it is still Fowlers in Bristol, so it seems I'm getting confused.
