A friend of mine has Parkinson's disease and can only walk with a Zimmer frame. Her daughter has made her a bag which fixes on the frame. This means that she can carry books, a handbag and other personal items with her. Her hands are thus left free to grip the frame properly.

Fabulous.
some of the walking type frames have little seats which can be opened to store a book, paper, not large obviously, but also designed for the person to take a rest when needed, a friend has one, and she get around well.
rather like this one, it helps her get around and when she gets a bit out of breath has a rest,

How thoughtful and clever of the daughter.
My wife has one like the one in your link emmie, she canput shopping in it and sit down on it. very usefull.
my friends one is good, she can put some shopping in it, not a lot but enough to do for a day or two, plus can sit on it when the shopping has been done.
what if you hands are rather arthritic. a little storage seat is ideal.
My mother (and now my mother in law) swore by the folding zimmers on wheels - mum would never have got out of the house without it. She also had one with 3 wheels that would fold to go in the car. So much easier than lumping a standard zimmer frame about!
