Complaints About Specsavers

Does any one have any complaints about the shoddy workmanship of Specsavers spectacles?

The only reason I went there was that I had lost my spex and urgently needed replacements, and they were nearest. Absolutely no problems, and the spex have lasted over a year, being worn daily.

I go to Boots (buy one pair get other half price). Tilly please note, I also got points so I don't know why they didn't let you have any. Perhaps each store manager does what he likes.

They did a home visit to my 97 year old mother and couldn't have been nicer, showed her the cheapest specs first but she said she wanted designer ones!

They are not 'Branches'

They are Franchisees - so as mentioned above, the products are sourced centrally but the quality of service is up to the Local owner Optician who may be in that Store or may have several in the area.

I've used them (in Deal) for about 5 yrs with no problems at all,
Customer service very good,
Quality excellent, not even a screw come loose.

We've used them for years and always recieved excellant service.I dont go for the two pairs option as my perscription has not altered over the last six years so if I do change frames I use the old pair as a spare but I've never had any trouble negotiating a deal regarding the differant coatings etc that I want.
