And maybe the beginning of Autumn - which is my favourite season.

The stews can go back on, and you can wear a light jacket without either being wrapped up or too hot and other people stop being quite so stupid (as happens in the summer heat).

Anyone else looking forward to Autumn?

Love the woods in autumn. Can't resist kicking up the leaves and searching for pine cones and conkers.

B00 is the only sensible person around, obviously. A 12-month summer is the only acceptable climate.

Still, it's a nice time to go see the national acer collection at Westonbirt.

Nope - Summer all year round if I had my way, minimum temp 25 degrees. I hate the cold.

I am not. Dont like nights drawing in. Dont like the noise of fireworks which seem to last for several days into the early hours of the morning around Diwali. Dont like Halloween due to trick or treaters knocking on the door. Dont like all the early Christmas stuff in the shops. Dont like the deteriorating weather and fog. Sorry, but you did ask.

I think most people are always ready for the crisp coolness of autumn after a hot summer.

I've always loved those mornings we sometimes get with clear blue skies and a really heavy frost when you seem to be able to see for miles.I used to walk for miles with only Max and the occasional other dog walker for company.Just strolling along admiring mother nature at her finest.
