Is there any way to make the address bar is Firefox smaller? I can move the homepage and refresh buttons etc. around but can't seem to make it smaller.

Well I've just done it.
Hover the cursor at the end of the address bar until it turns in to a horizontal arrow and drag across.

Tried as hc said and yes the address bar got smaller - but the search bar got bigger so still 90% of the width.

The more add on icons you add, the smaller the address and search bars get

hc, that doesn't work for me, maybe cos I don't have too many icons. Can I just make the address bar smaller and leave empty space instead?
