If you do that, you don't need to wash up. Get paper plates and picnic cutlery for a few days.

I've got a dishwasher but its "unplumbed at present",my daughter is having it and I'm having an integrated one. Right now I'm thinking the old kitchen (now in a skip) wasn't so bad.

I tried to send my dish washer back after it stopped cleaning the dishes properly, but my mother in law told me I'd married him for better or worse.

When my kitchen was being done, I used paper plates, paper cups, foil containers for cooking. Everything went in the bin. I did was the knives anf d forks in the bathroom sink though. I couldn't wash up, in the kitchen, for ten days.

It's awful, but well worth it for your new kitchen. Never been so happy to have a good old fashioned cooked dinner, once it's done. Best meal ever. My house looked like the kitchen has exploded, there was kitchen equipment everywhere.
