Diz what a fantastic sculpture, also you are so brave to go public. That is a super picture of you and mum.

I did a talk discussion at BBC radio Sheffield on depression with Rony Robbinson a couple of years back as well. I'd let everyone hear it but the sad thing is I also proposed to my wife on air in the studio while she was sat outside. So you can hear everything. At the time and while I was still with her I used to sit and listen to it and get all emotional (in a good way). Now if I was to listen to it I'd probably start balling my eyes out.

It is a very scary thing to do is that. Especially when you have millions of listeners listening to your every word. I couldn't of just took her for a meal and got down on one knee. I chose to do it in a radio station. Then the Star Newspaper did a cover on that. Scary stuff!
you've posted a pic of yourself and in the article it states where you live -are you not worried or concerned? I thought in the rules of this Forum it stated not to give out personal information? I think you are very silly for giving out so much info. Nothing malicious intended just saying.....
Question Author
ClaryS: I do not have a concern as the link is public domain but I could also argue that you have now brought even more attention to me and 'where I live' by mentioning it. Hmmm ;p
dismouk, so you are saying that its my fault for reading the article you posted? how silly, do you expect people to just look at the pictures? You posted an article that gave a huge amount of personal information, you could have just saved the pic and posted it with no article or personal information. You had an idiot on the other night threatening to 'find you' and two days later you post an article that contains the actual address where you live -total madness!!
The idiot posting the other night wouldn't do anything. He's just a keyboard warrior.
Question Author
ClaryS: I never blamed you for anything. Do you really think I'm worried about someone who was trolling? I've not done anything wrong and if someone wants to waste there time prowling the streets to find me then sobeit. Chances are they wouldn't last two minutes in this village anyway. My point was that you mentioned the fact that I had given out personal information (which wasn't obvious unless the link was clicked) but more so made more of a point by bringing it up. That is all. Don't worry about it.
diz..that looks totally amazing..you should be very proud of having such talent..why nobody else can see you have much to offer is beyond me. hopethings improve and you feel brighter. chin up my love you kopw we are all with you xxx
sorry dismouk but I reckon anyone clicking on the thread is going to click the link anyway, so I don't agree I have brought it to anyone's attention. Thankfully you seem to think you could cope with a possibly unbalanced individual who could start to stalk you, or cause a scene at the venues you are going to. I sincerely hope nothing comes of it but genuinely think you are unwise to post such things on a public forum. BTW your work is Fab and I would love to have a piece of your artwork in my garden xxx
Question Author
Thank you. As far as the venues are concerned Rhapsody In Steel is no longer in operation and does not run from my address anyway. I'd take great pride in someone actually taking the time to come and stalk me - it might make life more interesting. If someone does come to stalk me then I hope they don't come with anything valuable because round here people will take the clothes off your back :P seriously. They are nice pieces :) work lovely in any garden x
