Decent restaurant in Somerset - any recommendations?

Can anyone recommend a good restaurant in Somerset/North Devon. I live near Taunton and want to find a decent place to eat out. The Castle in Taunton is a no, no ... that's just a bit to expensive.

try the friendly spirit in cannington near bridgwater they do some lovely meals there at really afordable prices
