...they were re-launched last summer for a limited trial period....I ate 20 years supply in a few months in sheer panic ...I never want to see them again...

Not sure exactly what you mean, but you reminded me of a restaurant I went to in London back in the early 1990s. Don't remember the name of it, but the signs outside and the menu promised "genuine" Texas cuisine. We went in to find typical British fare, but the servers all wore cowboy hats.

They aren't as good as the ones from the 80s - they are far too soft IMO.
