I was abit eager in Whittards about a year ago and purchased 4 lots of leaf tea. I haven't managed to get through them yet and the best before date is looming (October) will the tea go 'off'? Or will the taste and strength remain for a while longer. I don't really want to get rid of it but there's still load to drink!!

Don't get rid of it. I got a Whittards gift set a few years ago and I kept most of the teas for at least a year. By the way, loose leaf teas, ALWAYS taste much better don't they? Messier, yes but much better. Enjoy xx
It doesn't go ''off'' like milk would, but it will slowly loose it's flavour hence a ''Best before date'' instead of a use by date.
as long as its kept dry and sealed it should be fine, to use it up a bit quicker try making tea breads, there are recipes on the web.
